Cancellation and Refund Policy

1. Business subscriptions only
This policy applies to Helm self-serve business subscriptions. Personal or household subscriptions are not currently available through self-serve checkout.
2. Free plan and paid upgrades
Helm offers a Free plan with no expiry and no card required. The Free plan does not automatically convert to a paid subscription. You choose whether to upgrade through paid checkout, which shows the plan, currency, billing cadence, renewal terms, and any tax before confirmation.
Paid plans have no free trial. Paid access begins only after Stripe reports the first successful subscription invoice. Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the displayed cadence until cancelled. Cancelling or failing to complete an upgrade checkout leaves your Free Site on the Free plan.
3. Cancellation
You may cancel through Helm's billing settings or by contacting support. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period, and paid features remain available until then. When it takes effect, your active account returns to Free: the Site, booking link, bookings, and custom-domain support remain available.
Existing invoices, receipts, and orders remain viewable, printable, and completely exportable as read-only history while the account remains active. Cancelling does not erase amounts already due or completed charges.
If a paid payment remains unresolved after Helm's 14-day payment grace period, the paid entitlement ends and the active account returns to Free under the same historical-access rules. This is separate from account closure; see the Account Closure and Data Deletion Policy.
4. Refunds and credits
Subscription and optional service fees are non-refundable and are not prorated merely because you stop using Helm before the end of a billing period, except where applicable law requires otherwise or Helm confirms an erroneous or duplicate charge.
Approved refunds return through the original payment method where possible. Processing time depends on the payment provider and bank. A refund or credit note will identify the original charge or invoice it reverses.
5. Billing disputes
Report an incorrect charge promptly to support@gethelm.asia with the account email, invoice or receipt reference, amount, currency, and reason. Do not send full card numbers, passwords, or authentication codes.
