Founder biography
Jayvinder Singh is the Founder and CEO of Helm. He is a self-taught software developer with six years of professional experience, based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.
He bootstrapped Helm in early 2026 through Khidmat Tech Sdn. Bhd.

Verified timeline
Before Helm, Jayvinder built Khidmat, a paused Malaysian service-discovery project, and simple client websites. A barber asked for more than a site: booking flow, calendars, customer records, invoices, and receipts working together.
Helm was bootstrapped in early 2026. In August 2026, Helm published the Malaysia Barber Digital Front Door Study 2026, a bounded audit of how publicly discoverable barbers present an owned digital front door.
